The Red Sox won the American League Championship Series after coming from 3 games behind to beat the Yankees 10-3 in Game 7. Johnny Damon hit two home runs, including a grand slam which put the Sox up 6-0. David Ortiz had a two-run homer. Derrick Lowe pitched 6 innings, only allowing one hit, then replaced by Pedro Martinez who allowed two more runs, bring the Sox lead to only 5. But then Mike Timlin came out of the bullpen to pitch and held the score at 10-3. Good job, Boston, on a GREAT season! I'll be watching you in the World Series, and we are going to show them that there is no curse. Still, I believe.
